Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about using CareLync to protect your family's health.
What does "Local-First" mean?
Local-first means your data is stored primarily on your device, not on our servers. This ensures maximum privacy. You can sync to your own cloud folder (Google Drive, OneDrive) for backups, but the data remains under your control.
Is my health data shared with anyone?
No. CareLync does not have a central database of user health records. Your data is encrypted on your device. We do not sell, harvest, or even see your vitals.
How do I invite my family?
Go to the Cloud Sync settings in your profile. Once you've connected a cloud folder, you can share that folder with your family members. They can then use the "Import" feature in their app to stay in sync with your records.
What if I forget my password?
Since we don't store your data, we cannot reset your password. You must use your 12-word Recovery Phrase provided during setup to regain access. Keep this phrase safe and offline!
